Polka Dots make me so happy! Every time I put on something with a polka dot print, it instantly lifts my spirits- not sure why this is.... guess I just HEART Polka Dots! The polka dot model in these pictures is my adorable goddaughter, Kasey. I wonder if they make this outfit for big people? :)

365 Days of Happy-Day 22-OTR Gateway Quarter

OTR Gateway Quarter......another hidden gem in Cincinnati that Jason and I discovered this summer. The architecture in this little section of town is absolutely beautiful. I'm so grateful that people are putting so much time, love, and money into revitalize this area. We have only been once, but hope to go again sometime soon. We had a delicious lunch at Lavomatic (an old laundromat) and enjoyed shopping at the cute little boutique-y shops like Park + Vine.

I HEART ice cream....especially ice cream at Lakeside....oh, and Graeters! Yum! *Shout out to my Daddy-O and my adorable godson, Isaac!

365 Days of Happy- Day 19- Chicago style deep dish pizza- YUM!

Jason and I went to Chicago for our mini honeymoon (we went to Mexico later that summer). OH MY GOSH! We had some DeLiCiOuS deep dish pizza while we were there. One place had the most amazing crust...tasted kind of like cornbread. YUM!

365 Days of Happy- Day 18- Vintage Metal Chairs

I love vintage metal chairs- They make me happy! I especially like them in pairs.....perhaps 2 girlfriends sat in these chairs back in the day chatting and catching up..... or perhaps a young gal and guy sat in these chairs after a first date sharing a Coke.... I don't know why I love them so much....kind of remind me of my grandma..... Lakeside.......or maybe just a simpler time.

365 Days of Happy: Day 17- PALM Cottage

PALM Cottage at Lakeside is one of my happiest places on earth! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lakeside! PALM stands for Paul, Amy, Linda, and Mary Ann....the members of my amazing family! My mom used had a license plate on her car that said "PALM" when I was in high school. One of the girls on my soccer team asked if my mom was a "palm reader."- still makes me laugh! I love PALM Cottage- it is my home away from home! There is nothing better than laying on the glider on the front porch listening to the lake and the voices and laughter from the park. I love eating meals with my family at the picnic table in the backyard. I also love looking at the beautiful flowers in my mom and dad's little garden as I swing on the porch swing... I HEART PALM COTTAGE!

365 Days of Happy: Day 15- Babies + BIG Flowers

Over the weekend, I did a little mini photo shoot with my goddaughter, Kasey. I absolutely LOVE photographing babies with big flowers on their heads! They look SO SO adorable!

365 Days of Happy- Day 14- Rainbow Row

A few years ago, I went to Charleston, S.C. with my 2 best friends from college, Randi and Lexi. It was my first trip to Charleston, and I was totally captivated by the beautiful architecture (the amazing food was an added bonus). I definitely recommend a visit to Charleston! It is absolutely beautiful! Rainbow Row was one of my favorites! I love the bright colors! Our trip to Charleston is one that I will always cherish!

365 Days of Happy- Day 13- Daisies

I don't know what it is about them, but I think daisies may just be the happiest flowers ever! Maybe it's the yellow and white- kind of sunshine like....whatever it is, I HEART daisies!

365 Days of Happy: Day 12- Linda Won

My mom has wanted a boat FOREVER! Last year, my dad finally gave in and my mom couldn't have been happier! My dad came up with the clever name for the boat- Linda Won as opposed to Linda I. My mom loves it of course. We had so much fun riding the waves of Lake Erie last summer. I'm looking forward to it again this summer and I know Mama Linda is counting down the days!

365 Days of Happy: Day 11- Chess

CHESS- I'm not at all good, but Jason and I like to play....A perfect date night in Clifton for me includes Indian food and chess at Sitwell's....The black raspberry mocha is an added bonus....yum! Now if I could just beat Jason!

365 Days of Happy: Day 10- Hiking at Cincinnati Nature Center

Have I mentioned lately that I CAN'T WAIT for SpRiNg?! I'm so sick of this dreary, nasty weather. I miss hiking at the Cincinnati Nature Center- It is such a beautiful place. Plus, I must say that I also love picnics at the nature center! Spring.....bring it on!

This is the first of many posts about Lakeside, one of the happiest places on earth! I love the pavilion at Lakeside! It is a great place to watch thunderstorms over the lake. Ahhh......Lakeside! Summer can't come soon enough!
